“Great authentic fare”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

We visited Brazil, Brazil on July 3rd for a late lunch, around 1:30pm. Maybe only ten other people in the restaurant. We had good service, great food and really enjoyed the authentic Feijoada.

“interesting menu...delicious grilled salmon...attentive service...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013

dishes we ordered were served hot & fresh....grilled salmon was delicious as was flavorful side of beans with rice. Stew dish was too unusual for our taste. Flan deserts were excellent.

“Excellent tapas and Sangria”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

A bit noisy, this little place has a lovely garden, homemade sangria, and a wide variety of delicious tapas. I had a vegetable one with asparagus, spinach, mozzarella, and goat cheese, and a beef empanada. The chorizo soup is loaded with kale and white beans. Makes me hungry all over again!

“Favorite restaurant in NYC”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013

I went to this restaurant last year and was a little nervous to branch out to Brazilian cuisine. But I loved it so much it was a must-do on my return trip this summer with a group of friends. The service was a little slow even though it wasn't very busy, but we weren't in a rush to get anywhere by a certain time so it worked in this case. The food is absolutely amazing. Three people in our group of six had the shrimp served in a hollowed coconut with coconut milk. It was the best meal I ate in the city all week. I will definitely return when I visit NYC again!

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013 via mobile

We came here just because it is right behind our apartment for a quick dinner & soent the evening.
The kids were anxious about trying brasilian but then coukd not get enough.
We got music and explanation about the history of every dish.
Try the shrimps in a coconut!!
