I've now been there 3 times and it keeps getting better....So be prepared to pay a lot but know that food this good needs to be eaten slowly and savored. You must make a reservation to get in, the service is good but not terribly friendly (efficient, is the word), and the prices high....Doesn't sound so great, right? Wait until that first piece of sushi melts on your tongue. So the Omakase (chef's choice) is the best choice although you will pay by the piece and it adds up fast if you're hungry. (Tip: Drink lots of water first and save room for dessert). The Omakase with 2 glasses of wine and dessert was $180- it was my birthday, what can I say? But their "Tuna of Gari" is also amazing- 8 pieces of wonderful tuna sushi, each with a special sauce and a tuna roll for $55. Special night- splurge especially post-theater. It's NYC's restaurant row so expect the cost AND the great quality. Bon appetit!
