“Beautiful little park in the heart of the financial district”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2013

A must if you are visiting the Financial District to see Wall Street or the charging bull. There were beautiful flowers all around this great little park and benches to relax on after lots of walking. The bull is right next to it too so you can do that at the same time. All in all, it is a neat open space in the narrow streets of the area. Plus, it's NYC's oldest park which is a neat distinction!

“Historical Park Not to Be Missed ....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013

NYC's Oldest Park and a valued piece of history for New York. This park has existed since the 1730's and has been in use since the early17th Century by the Dutch and Native Americans. The Tulips are the ever present reminder of the city's Dutch heritage. Great place ot hang out during lunch or relax after a hard day at the office working in downtown NYC......

“You must see the bull”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

The giant bull is a very popular tourist attraction. You are able to get up close and get a good picture of you and the bull.

“See the Bull and Enjoy the Fountain”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2012

Cute little park that is a nice stop on a broader tour of the financial district. Must get a pic with the famous bull but the park also features a beautiful fountain surrounded by red geraniums and benches. It is almost Parisian. Nice for a break during a day tour and to check out the oldest park in the City.
Also love the Bowling Green subway stop across the street diagonally, I guess in what would technically be Battery Park. There is an entrance closer to Bowling Green Park in front of the old Custom House/Native American Museum but the one across the street looks like an old greenhouse.
