“Great set up for Winter and Summer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2014

Bryant Park is always a great place to visit. In the winter you can go ice skaing. In the summer it is open and the trees provide great shade at the periphery for stopping and people watching.

“Finest Park for Tourists in Manhattan”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

Bryant Park has become one of the most interesting parks in all of NYC for tourists. It's great midtown location is easily accessible, being only a block off of Times Square and halfway between Grand Central Terminal and The Port Authority Bus Terminal. The schedule of events has grown over the past few years and now has something unique almost daily - including mid-day and evening concerts, classes (including Tai Chi, yoga, fencing, dancing, fly-fishing, juggling, etc.), morning TV shows occasionally broadcast from the park, birding tours, activities (including ping pong, chess, petangue, bocce ball, board & table games, kubb, mini golf/putting green, etc.). Other features include The Reading Room (which often has readings for kids or lectures by authors), The Southwest Porch (a great place for an after-work drink) and The Carousel (which is is a kid favorite). Whether you're in midtown morning, noon or night, there's something for all in Bryant Park!

“An oasis in a concrete desert”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

We stumbled across this little gem on our way to the New York Public Library. It is located at the back of NYPL and the green canopies provided us much respite from the scorching afternoon sun.

The park has a great vibe. We saw people reading, chatting, playing chess and having a cuppa. There is an area for playing pétanque and another, for table tennis. There were people playing both games when we were there. I was delighted to find book stands with books for children. There is also a pretty carousel and kids' seating. Even the restrooms are delightful.

Would have loved to spend much more time there.

“Nice park in the heart of Manhattan”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2014

Bryant park is pretty little park right inside the heart of Manhattan. Located only blocks from Times Square and offering a nice place to sit and relax away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square . Bryant park has really beautiful public restrooms complete with fresh flowers arrangements which I found shocking considering its a public restroom. Be sure to grab a crumbs cupcake ( right across tge street from the park) and sit and relax while eating your cake.
