“Cool place to walk around, shop a bit”

There were lots of vendors and artists here selling goods- it is a really cool place to browse through and it's very close to the subway and other interesting places to shop.

“farmer´s market and more”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2013

Probably the best farmer´s market in Manhattan, really local, green, organic or any other adjective you want to give to "normal" agricultural products from potatoes and chicken to red wine and cider. Not cheap, but what is cheap on Mabhattan? And when tired and it is rainig, , you can enter Barnes&Noble bookstore, buy a coffee in the cafe on 2nd floor and watch the square from the window or just watch famous writers painted on walls or...anything you like.
And there is even children´s playground in the park! And public restroom. And subway. And Hare Krishna singers almost every day. And and and...

“Shopping”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013

There were lots of stores at Union Square for shopping. We planned to eat here also but found the choices to be lacking. There was a holiday fair going on in Union Square park that was fun to walk through. Also there was an ice skating rink and a beautiful christmas tree. It would have been better if it had not been raining.
