We saw Julius Caesar by Handel. Sets brilliant, production brilliant, singing superb. One of the absolute highlights of our trip and one of the best experiences ever! Well done Met Opera! We will come back - worth every cent - extremely high standard.

Is very beautiful and from every corner you can see the opera very well. The structure is beautiful and you have to see the candelier made with gold. Is just stunning.

I was amazed how reasonable the prices were to attend at the Met. We attended an opera and obtained discount tickets due to one in our party having student status. The performance was wonderful and the stage itself was magnificent to watch as the scenes changed. This is a must go while you are in NYC. Drop by the box office and see what productions have ticket availables.

Purchased box seats, which I've always wanted to do but never thought we could afford. They were an expensive $20 a seat. They were marked on the seating chart as obstructed view because this box is right next to the stage and about 150 feet up. BUT, they are only obstructed in viewing the back half of the stage if you lean out to watch. Wonderful sound mixing up there and in seat titling of the translated libretto. For $20 a seat, this was a wonderful live listening, if not fun view.
