I love the Met Opera House. Its just amazing to stand in the lobby and look at the beautiful chandeliers! The productions are always top class and fabulous.

Went to two operas a couple of weeks ago. You know you're experiencing the best in the world as soon as the curtain rises. Staging is fantastic and there are so many to choose from, all running simultaneously. If you're time rich and money poor you can queue for rush tickets on the day of the performance. 150 tickets go for $20 with more for Seniors over 65. The Lincoln Centre itself is a great place to stage operas, theatres and concerts.

Not every production is perfection but it is a wonderous house. A person is lucky to be near the Met where opera is at a world class level.

Gets the Great Singers of the Operatic World but less than consistant in the productions that are staged there.
