Went to Mass Sunday. Huge Cathedral. There was a lot of people. Standing room only. Good to see a church in the city that's not closed.

Under restoration but very nice to visit. I wish people would be more respectful of the church than they are,and if you can give something for the restoration costs.

“A quiet refuge in a busy day”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

Even under restoration, the cathedral is beautiful and it is a respected oasis in the middle of the bustle of the city. It is well attended by informed staff who are happy to answer questions. It was good to take a quiet half hour to admire and reflect.

“St. Patrick's Cathedral”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

This realy old church is under construction but on saturday's catch a glimpse of brides to be wed. You'll see statutes of saints. I always stop by St. Jude located in the back of the church to the left.
The very far front of the church has the lady chapel where you can see blue pues and beautiful italian tile on the floor. To the right front of church you'll see the Virgin Guadalupe every year the mexican community is seen in profession of their faith walking in front of the Cathedral with the picture of the Guadalupe then it is placed back in the church. St Michael is placed in the back St. Anthony to the middle right of the church. And our holy sacrament in the chapel of our lady. Since Easter is coming call the Cathedral so that you can get a seat for Easter sunday. God Bless you.

“It's a Beautiful Cathedral”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

I don't know what to say, it's a beautiful cathedral. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis, MO, but they look a bit similar to me. Cathedrals are far more lavish than regular churches, and St. Patrick's is beautifully lavish. It met my expectations.
