Wandered down to Wall Street whilst awaiting our time to see Ground Zero. Just a short stroll. Some beautiful buildings, one of those places on my to do list in New York, would recommend giving yourself 30 minutes or so to wander around here.

Lucky did we visit this place on a early Sunday morning where there are not much of pedestrians passing through. This is where we witnessed some of the buildings built by the Rokefellar family and the NYSE Building. Last and not least the bronze made charging bull. Did not have the chance to take the pictures of the head of the bull due to China tourist fondling it's horns one after another. Dunno why it's such a craze? Does it bring good luck? Please witness the walkway and you could see milestones of Americans achieved through the past. Something like an Almanac engraved on steel plates on the pavement of the walk way. Quite interesting facts.

It was a nice experience to see the great banks in the U.S. We had a stroll in the Wall Street and was amazed by this business district.

I didn't realize how much history took place in the wall street district. We had the chance to see the George washington building where he became the first president. A lot of amazing buildings in the area with lots of stories behind them. You should consider the 9.11 walking tour if you like this area and have 90 minutes to explore.

If you combine the Wall Street area into a morning or afternoon excursion you can cover The New York Stock Exchange, Trinity Church, Battery Park and the Staten Island Ferry (New York Harbor) which makes for a very interesting, educational and enjoyable few hours. Definitely take the ferry ride and see Manhattan from the Staten Island side.
