I wanted to see the Charging Bull of Wall Street so we found ourselves headed that way after walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. We stopped at a Starbucks on the corner of Beaver and Broad to refresh ourselves and then headed to the Bull. Wow! Was there ever a line!! People from all over the world were in line to get their photo taken with the Charging Bull. If you go, count on a line of at least 30 minutes long. I figured the photo with us in it wasn't that important so we managed to get a photo without anyone hugging or crouching in front of the bull and that will suffice. And then we walked over to Battery Park. There we were able to sit down away from the crowds and marvel at the Statute of Liberty!!

Busy with a great market, full of mixed old and new buildings. Spent most of the time looking upwards feeling as if you surrounded by mountains! Lots of good places to eat and to stay.

This was another place i wanted to go & see, people were quiet rude, not about the Bull but with letting you take pictures as i think some people dont know how to use manners. e.g. asking you to move etc so they could take a pic when they were outside the barrier & not even stood next to the Bull.

Located on the southern end of Manhatten, it is often in the news. Wall street itself is not much except a number of office buildings you see on the news. You see a lot of people during the week and it gets real quiet here on the weekends. There is a lot more secruity now then the first time I visited it years ago. It is more a place to walk through, take some photos to say you were here, and visit other sites in the area. Other sites nearby include South Port, Trinity Church, St Paul's, Twin Toers Memorial, Battery Park, and the Brooklyn Bridge.

It is where manhattan island is smallest so you can walk from one side to the other and see so much: varied architecture, Federal plaza where G.Washington was sworn in (across from the exchange) the ferries are near...etc
