I have seen a few of the outdoor concerts at Lincoln Center and they have been run wonderfully. The musical guest selections are diverse and the atmosphere is very pleasant. There are always a lot of people (but not too many- I hate unruly crowds), there is a lot of security, it is kept clean, and drinks are sold at vendors around the outskirts of the seating area. Highly recommend catching a summer concert here.

Our show was not the best, but the experience of being at the Lincoln Center is great since the moment you arrive. The place is beautiful, the plaza, the building, etc. Truly a place to visit at night show or no show.

Thursday Evening, August 21, 2014, We Really Enjoyed Listening To A Set Of Bosa Nova And Other Brazilian Jazz Sounds At The Much Talented Hands Of Romero Lubambo (Guitar), Harry Allen (Tenor Sax), Claudio Roditi (Flugelhorn), Nilson Matta (Bass), Duduka da Fonseca (Drums), and Maucha Adnet (Vocalist). If We Would Have Known How Good It Was Gooing To Be, We Would Have Arranged To Stay For The 2nd Set, But We Had A Commitment Elsewhere. If They Ever Come To Toronto, We Will See Them Again For Sure.

Unfortunately when we visited there were no shows playing at the time, but access to the foyer was available.

We went for a first night performance by the Bolshoi Ballet. The foyer area has no seating and we couldn't access our seats upstairs. The lifts were locked and the staircase blocked so we were forced to remain in the foyer area, which got horribly crowded. Expensive drinks and a really uncomfortable experience. Loved the ballet but couldn't wait to escape the place.
