“Elegant Evening at the Ballet”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

As a lifelong ballet enthusiast, it was a dream come true to be on the Lincoln Center campus. I was there to see American Ballet Theater’s (ABT) Swan Lake at the Metropolitan Opera House. Be sure to arrive to your performance early to take pictures of the different buildings (Julliard, Koch Theater, etc.) and the fountain before you enter to find your seat. The interior of the Met is just stunning. Take a look at the art work, the chandeliers, and costumes in display cases. Get out on the balcony during intermission for a beautiful night view of Koch and Avery Fisher Hall. Tip: if you are short, go to the lower level and get a seat cushion that will bump you up a good 3 inches! If you have the pleasure of seeing an ABT performance, you are in for an amazing experience beyond words. What a talented company.

“Superb American Ballet Theater's Romeo & Juliet”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

I decided to pony up $70 each for the tickets--and I was not sorry. The seats in the Dress Circle of the Metropolitan Opera House are raked so everyone has an unobstructed view. The stage sets were magnificent, as was the large orchestra. The dancers were superb and we were especially impressed by the ensemble sword fights. Last but not least, the score by Prokofiev is wonderful.

“An unforgettable Swan Lake”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

In an astonishing venue, preceded by a beautiful fountain, the Swan Lake (Kochetkova-Cornejo, 06/21/13) was an unforgettable performance of my best beloved ballet. Everything was perfect: the acting and the technique of the main dancers and the corp de ballet, the dresses, the scenery, the curtains and the extremely professional orchestra playing the must beautiful of Tchaikovsky's creations.

“Behind the scenes tour”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

We had an interesting tour of the Lincoln Center theaters including the Opera, Avery Fisher Hall, etc. We were lucky to have a guide who was the wife of the first violinist of the NY Philharmonic and she shared many interesting vignettes about celebrities she had met. A wonderful overview of Lincoln Center for those who know it well and those who have never been there.
