If you are a dance lover, history lover or just want to feel like a New Yorker this is a location not to be missed. Even before the curtain goes up the ceiling is beautiful. The Nutcracker is not to be missed and delights all ages. When the sleigh reaches for the clouds it will take your breath away.

This place has it ALL!! The New York City Ballet is here in the David Koch Theatre. The Metropolitan Opera is here from September to May. There is the NY Philharmonic in Avery Fisher Hall. And there are plays at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Julliard is right next door, And the plaza, with the fountain in the middle is just beautiful!! There are tons of great restaurants in the surrounding blocks... you CANNOT go wrong!!!!

The theater doesn't seem to have a bad seat, it feels like a much smaller and intimate theater.

We were able to get seats for War Horse in short notice and really enjoyed the experience and the venue.

Most tourists head to Broadway to see musicals, but real New Yorkers go to Lincoln Center. It's iconic. The fountain and opera house are just stunning. There are also plays with tickets often available same day at the half price TKTS location in Times Square.

There's also OPERA in one of the most famous opera houses in the world and tickets for the balcony are less expensive than most Broadway musicals.

Very nice complex, I've been to two theaters and they didn't disappoint. However, you cant come directly to entrance by taxi, you would still have to walk for 5-10minutes.
