“Average food, high prices and no security”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Prices are high and thats fine, we are in Wall st. But beef extremely salty. Martinis extremely small. And I had my ipad stolen at this restaurant - the manager said they had no cameras to check our exact table. But ipad was on the table as we were working on it, then we went out, in again... and it was gone! no one new anything...

“Average consistent sushi chain”
Reviewed December 13, 2012

Ok sushi, didn't have a geiger meter on hand so I can't confirm if fish came from the Fukushima mutant fish farm. Will tell you if my kids develop a third nipple and three legs, in the meantime the sushi was surprisingly decent for a Times Square restaurant, but it is a chain after all and consistency is expected. It is consistently OK, nothing to rave about.

Place is noisy though, I had to channel all my energy to hearing my date who would later break my heart, but that's not the sushi's fault so I digress...

“Awesome modern Sushi”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

This was good. We went for most of the recommendations tonight.
King salmon from New Zealand. Wall Street roll, Gramercy Roll, O Toro roll.
Even the agedashi tofu was top notch.

Also, the made to order lemongrass hot and sour soup, this was surprisingly very good as well. Almost like a tomyam, but not really. Spicy, but not so sour. With shrimp, bay scallops, mushrooms, etc.

Red bean ice cream is always a welcoming choice, but the tempura cheesecake was the highlight of desert...

Pricey, 3 people, $188+tip

“Pricey, great atmosphere and location.”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

A friend and I were in NYC for the weekend and wanted to have have sushi so we opted for Haru near Times Square on 43rd. The atmosphere was great and they serve a great Plum wine. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh and presented well with great flavor. The rolls were pretty good, but I have had better. The meal was pricey, just under $80 for the two of us but overall a great dinner.
