“Very good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2011

We had lunch in Bar Breton. Our decision to try this place was driven by my husband's gluten free diet requirements and this bar was recommended on one of the celiac society's web sites. We did not regret we went there. Buckwheat crepes were delicious! We tried crepes with goat cheese and smoked salmon and both choices were super! Desert was also very good - we can rarely find a restaurant where gluten free deserts are offered. This is not a cheap place to eat at, but definitely worth spending money.

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2011

We came to Bar Breton to celebrate our Christmas. We ordered crepes with salmon that were served way too fast for an evident reason: they were cooked in advance. Considering the price and the style (it is not a fast food eatery!), I would not recommend going there, especially if you have an event.

“HAPPY HOUR”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2010

called here for a glass of wine at happy hour - $6 for a glass which is good by NYC standards. Nice staff and cute little bar. Normal prices are $13 for a glass which seemed too much for the bar and location

“Uniquely fabulous French food in new york”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2010

What a great place! The food is amazing and the staff is so attentive and helpful. It is bigger on the inside than you would expect and so nicely decorated. They have a good wine list and the desserts are really great. We were so happy we took our guests to this special place.

“Don't miss this charming place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 26, 2010

We have enjoyed lunch and dinner at this charming restaurant. Not only is the food very good and the service pleasantly attentive but there isn't anything quite like Bar Breton in the City. We'll be back again soon.
