If you want to come for a beer and a burger--good spot. But other than that I wouldn't come back here. Working down the block, was excited to see what restaurant replaced Southwest New York. Came for lunch, and walked in to find what looked like a German pub. With table games?? Sat outside, which is the only good thing about this place. VERY limited lunch menu, which was the first disappointment. My colleague and I ordered a cranberry/club soda and iced tea to start. No ice in the iced tea, no sugar brought out, and I don't think there was club soda in my drink. Instead of waiting for the inattentive waiter (who seemed nervous), I brought the drinks to the bar to get what I needed. My salad was good (even though there were beans in it when I asked for no beans), and the salmon was good, except my colleague thought it would be much warmer. It looks like this restaurant is catering to the frat crowd, or guys just looking to blow off steam after work with the beer selection and games. You would expect this place on a boardwalk, not in the middle of the lower Manhattan working crowd. Which is fine, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want to have a nice lunch. Only with an expanded menu and much better service, I would think about going back.
