Went to this Mexican restaurant for a Corporate lunch with some colleagues. It was really delicious. I have to say that this was one of my favorite Mexican meals. There were 5 of us and everyone was very happy. We all had the white sangria. For appetizers we had the freshly made guacamole, steak nachos and bbq shrimp. The guac needed a little salt. It was very bland, but very fresh, since they do make it "table side." The decor is very nice and relaxing and the service was very good. Expect to pay more than you would in some other Mexican restaurants, but, you are one block away from 42nd Street so this is expected in NYC. We had the shrimp enchiladas, spare ribs and fish tacos for entrees. This is a great place for business, romantic occasion, girls night out, etc.

We went to this restaurant thanks to a friend and we couldn't have found a better place to go and enjoy good alcohol and food! We ate mild guacamole, tortillas, chips as appetizers and then I chose vegetables (so nommy) and the others ordered fish which they said it was really good. We also had a bowl of white sangria that we shared. The atmosphere is cosy, with sweet lights and nice waiters/waitresses. I'd go back!

I visited this Spring as part of a group organized by a friend who chose Sinigual more for the location than anything else. Our group gathered slowly around the bar area and was then seated (even without all the members!) at a very nice table along the sidestreet windows. Some chose just an appetizer and others opted for an entire meal. Everyone was thoroughly satisfied with with well-spiced and appropriately-portioned dishes as well as the drinks. It's much more than the typical margarita joint and well worth another visit.

I couldn't make up my mind, the menu wasn't huge and didn't have lots of traditional Mexican food and trying to loose a little weight I opted for the steak salad. OMG it was GREAT. It cost about the same as my $16 skinny girl margarita which wasn't that great and very expensive for what it was! That being said I would go again.

Very pleasant restaurant. Quality food, spacious and bustling setting, friendly wait staff. Good option in a section of Manhattan not exactly overflowing with great options.
