Being from Canada, but from the other side of the country, we had heard a bit about what the Newfoundlanders had done for the stranded passengers during the 9/11 crisis. However, seeing this musical made us burst with pride for our fellow countrymen and their amazing hospitality for 7,000 stranded passengers. I love musicals and have been involved in singing of some sort for 60 years. I agree that the songs were not memorable, but they helped tell the stories of the passengers and the people of Gander. One reviewer was confused by all of the stories, but I had no trouble following them. Would highly recommend this show.
