“Quick & Easy”
Reviewed July 15, 2014

Was a quick and easy stop for breakfast and reasonably priced! We had done the other sit down and order places and this little place was better then the $75 breakfast diner for 3 that we had the day before!

“Great value food!”
Reviewed July 4, 2014 via mobile

We ate here for breakfast a couple of mornings while staying in a hotel round he corner. We did so based on the previous reviews on here, and weren't disappointed. Now it's not gourmet food you are getting here, but it tastes great, and you get more than enough to fill you up to well beyond lunchtime! We sampled pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausages, bacon, French toast, muffins (not all at once I hasten to add!). It was all really tasty and a fraction if the price of our hotel and also other restaurants we went to on our stay. This is a definite must do place if you are in the area!

“Breakfast At Fluffy's”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

We were after finding a place to go for breakfast near the hotel and found this place the first morning and liked it so much we went in every day we were in New York.
The choice is amazing but twice i went for the french toast with bacon, strawberries and blueberries onto which you pour as much mapel syrup as you want, it sounds so wrong but tastes so good! (P.S someone has posted a pic on here)
We also loved the bagels and the Salmon Lox is excellent as is the fresh orange juice and coffee.
It says it opened in 1975 so that shows they are doing something right and judging by the amount of locals popping in for take outs they have plenty of regular customers. I'd recommend getting in early for a high chair next to the window so you can watch the world go by as you munch on your breakfast.
We miss Fluffy's and wish it wasn't so far away, but it is an absolute must if we go to New York again.

“try the baklava”
Reviewed July 2, 2014

We stopped here to pick up some pastry before heading back to our hotel. The apple turnovers were dry and not very flaky, although the inner filling was excellent. But the real treat was the baklava, which we kept for the following morning. It was luscious, and the one slice was more than enough for the two of us.

The selection at Fluffy's was extensive, but it all looked average for NY.

Just a good breakfast place, not great or outstanding. A lot better places to go in NYC.
Food was fresh, coffee good, but overall, not a destination restaurant.
