Attended a festival held at the New Yorker Hotel. We found the hotel with no problem. Bell man took the luggage, vale' parked and we settled in.
The front desk person (Ruth) was exceptional, real professional, top shelf.
Sussie the concierge couldn't do enough for us and she really knew her city. She even explained how to use the sub-way.
Restaurant was good, the Tic Toc Dinner was a great convenience. Staying on the 38th floor we used the breakfast club where a very nice continental breakfast was served.
We travel a great deal (except to NY) this hotel may have changed our mind about NY.
If there is anything I would change is the space in the bathroom.
Be sure you spend a little extra and get a suite facing the Empire State Building, you won't want to go anywhere at night with such a great view.
Everything is near-by. Great value.More
