It's such a tiny warm place, with very good service and a real hi tech loo ! The food was awesome, but you must get a reservation done, don't just land up, we waited till mid nite for our turn and it was worth it!! This place gets my thumbs up, a must go to restaurant while ur in New York.

The table cooked Japanese hot pot was wonderful. The Tonsoku was tender and juicy. Love it. I will definitely be back for more.

Incredible!
I've been wanting to try after hearing and reading nothing but great reviews. I was not disappointed. Very authentic, modern Japanese cuisine with some excellent touches. The pig ears and feet on the app menu are great. Served hot with crispy skin. The tempura shrimp sushi roll was outstanding. We had one of their famous table cooked hot pots with braised pigs feet in the broth, scallions, chives and lamb dumplings. The cabbage was very nice and all was prepared table side.
If you're looking for little pieces of fish on rice, this is not for you. If you want actual modern Japanese then hurry to make a reservation!

This unassuming little Japanese restaurant is a seriously great find in the West Village of New Yorks Greenwich Village! They have a terrific range of the usual Japanese fare but their specialty is Japanese "hot-pots". We did not have time for one of these but they looked wonderful and if we are able to return we would certainly try one of these!! The sushi was delicious, the "hot dishes" we had were really flavoursome. If near the West Village put this on your list of must dos - if you love Japanese food try to get here even if you aren't in the West Village!! Making a booking is a good idea as this place is popular (especiall with the local Japanese population).
