Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We've stayed here before in the past few years. It's in a great location for us because we work in the garment district when we come to NYC. It's just a basic hotel that is great for the business traveler. We stayed on the 20th floor and it was very quiet. The room cooled off nicely and the shower has great water pressure. Jonathan who works at the front desk is very polite and curious.

This hotel is recommendable for upper middle class hotel seeker. Usually room rate is reasonable, room are well equipped and clearn although the buidling itself looked very old. Conveniently located near to subway station and Amtrak etc. We this time particularly were impressed efficient and friendly service at breakfast. All of the staff were very attentive to the guests and food was good enoough. I hope the reception staff level also get be raised to breakfast room staff.

Room Tip: Ciity view is better than down town view.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Very clean hotel, extremely courteous staff, very friendly and they provide useful inputs when asked for help. The lobby, rooms, carpet, bathrooms are very clean. It is conveniently located in midtown and very close to very good eating places. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Used Points for a 2-night stay. Location is great, subway 100 yds from Front door and Macy's around 300yds away. Rooms are a good size for NY and bright and clean. Nice and quiet (didn't hear elevators or street sounds). They have a bag drop for early arrivals. Showers have terrific pressure. Would recommend for mid-price travelers.

This hotel is impersonal but fills the bill for nice atmosphere and comfortable rooms that aren't too small and have plenty of natural light. Breakfasts are passable, with 2 options: "cold" for $10 (cereals, toast and yogurt) or $16 "hot" (eggs and do-it-yourself waffles). Best thing about this hotel is the location, with a subway stop right next to the hotel and plenty of buses on either 5th or Ave. of the Americas. This hotel is smack dab in the center of midtown. Price is reasonable for location and clean, comfortable rooms.

Room Tip: Ask for "city view" room, they should be quieter and with more light.

Have stayed here several times since it opened a few years ago.
Have consistently had great stays.
Staff has consistently been friendly and helpful.

The rooms are small as to be expected in NYC, but clean and well kept.
Subway is just at the end of the block and the major shopping area is 1 block away.

Would say that it is better than most Hilton Garden Inns I've stayed at.
Microwaves and refrigerator in the rooms are always convenient.

Have stayed in rooms with great views of the Empire State Building.
