We came with our 14 month son for Xmas, before coming we read many reviews so believe it match our expectations, as rburn says: "Hip and modern located in Meat Packing District", perhaps the rooms are a bit tight for a baby cot, but the sunset/sunrise with those magnificent views makes it worth, make sure you get a room facing the Hudson River.
Restaurant downstairs is good and open till late, and gets busy with locals. The only but we can say is that we where not allowed to have a drink on upstair bar (child was obvious minus 21), not even to go in to have a look! Might understand as targets the trendy NYC locals, be aware of dressing code, no fancy sport shoes or jeans allowed as well. The Lift was a surprise, animations coming out from a Dali dream?. Will come back!More
