The family and I decided to visit the Memorial, and booked the tour with Uncle Sams. We definitely got our money’s worth and more. Our guide, Michael J has a tremendous passion for city and its history, and we got to see inside the mind of real New Yorker.

Besides seeing the Memorial we heard about how the site came to be, from its very inception in the 1960s. What an eye opener !!! He even explained the topography, dating back to the 1600s all the way to the present. He showed us drawings from that time as well as aerial photos of the WTC before and after 9/11 and this gave us a whole new understanding of the World Trade Center. Seeing and hearing all of this and learning about the heroes of 9/11 made it a very special experience. Thank you Uncle Sam and Michael J !!!

we took this guided walking tour with Michael Jascz, who had not done this particular tour for a few months so was a bit lost at times, and not that sure of his facts and figures. We seemed to spend a lot of time at thefirst meeting point, a church where the 9/11 rescuers based themselves. Whilist it was interesting, it took the first hour of the tour to get past this point, and the souveneir shop across the road. There is so much construction happening along the old WTC site that the tour guide was not entirely up to speed on what was being build, where, and for what purpose. There was also quite a bit of explanation of the history/settlement of the city, a visit to the first catholic church, and not until the 3rd hour did we actually get to the memorial site itself. We were so over it by that point we left the tour early. It's really not worth the money, you are better off getting the memorial tickets directly since the other stops on this tour are not really worth the effort.

This tour allowed me the opportunity to relive 9/11 but this time at ground zero. I was able to see what I had only seen on tv and this provided me with a much better understanding of that terrible day. If someone is wanting to take this tour, make sure to ask for tour guide Annie. Annie was there that day and passionately retold the story from her perspective and experiences. Thank you, Annie.

We booked this tour for our 50th wedding anniversary through AAA Travel and Viator. We were very impressed and loved our guide Annie!! Annie brought us from the earliest days of St. Paul's Chapel all the way to present day. She shared her own stories along with stories of many of the heroes. Thank you AAA Travel, Viator , Uncle Sam , and especially Annie for a truly memorable enlightening experience! My wife and I felt that Annie was the best tour guide we have ever had experience with.

I booked this tour for myself and four girlfriends through Viator and we were very impressed and loved our guide Annie!! Annie brought us from the earliest days of St. Paul's Chapel all the way to present day. She shared her own stories along with stories of many of the heroes such as John O'Neill. I have recounted her American Express "Tears from Heaven" story over and over in the last couple of days and many are already considering a trip to take the tour. Thank you Viator , Uncle Sam , and Annie for a truly memorable enlightening experience!
