Slow service, dim lights, average American food. For a drink it's just fine, but no dinner, preferably.

Place is close to Penn station
Nice looking restaurant
The service is marginal
Food is good, but could be so much more. A English restaurant at these prices should not be serving marginal quality frozen chips
Walked in here because The Flying Puck, which is where we wanted to go, had nowhere to sit and eat because of the Stanley Cup game six (go Hawks!). The place is a beauty, but everything else fell short of the look of the place. There is a very long bar and there were only two servers behind it, which meant they were always at the other end closer to the door. The food was average and expensive. I wouldn't recommend it.
Good value food and good service, the restaurant can get some carry over noise from the bar if there are key sports events going on.
Located right on the corner of 7th Av and 31st St, and opposite Affinia hotel.
We found Harrington's and had a great lunch with great big NY sandwiches and Beer. Very friendly staff.
I think you should try this place when in NYC.
