I was in New York for business, and the location of ACE was extremely convenient. I loved the Stumptown Coffee joint attached to the hotel. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful! Great customer service. The lobby tables seemed to be filled most of the time (perhaps with Stumptown customers), which deterred me from enjoying the area..too busy. Luckily my room was so great, I didn't really need to hang out downstairs. Full sized vintage fridge with mini bar amentities. Room included an acoustic guitar and turntable. Wish I could have fully put these amenities to use! Only other minor disappointment was the mini bar/snack options. No Scotch...so had the Jameson. Snack options very pedestrian. Was hoping for some fancy local chocolate, or some Mast brand, like the Wythe in Brooklyn has. (Raided the mini bar sweets at the Wythe for a friend's birthday "cake" last spring, fun options.) Peanut M&M's at ACE were not something I wanted to "raid". Overall great experience. Stay here! Koreatown nearby. If you're looking for amazing vegetarian food, Go to Hangawi!
