We were fortunate to have the wonderful Tony as our guide on this beautiful Spring day. My son and I enjoyed a beautiful and informative cycle around Central Park... the highlight stopping at Strawberry Fields. Tony is very funny and knowledgable (& he knows his movies!)

Our tour was excellent and easy to book. The 2-hour tour was perfect for seeing most of the main attractions in Central Park - an excellent overview for a first-time visitor. Our guide, Filip, was entertaining and full of interesting information. Although I have lived in NYC and visited the park many times, this was a great way to learn more about it. My small group of students that went on the tour as well loved the experience.

What a great way to see Central Park. It was raining the day we went to the park but we would have hired a rickshaw even on a sunny day. The drivers were very friendly and full of NYC trivia. The tour covered about seven miles of the park and lasted about an hour. We were traveling with an infant and grandmother so we would not have been able to cover that much ground or see that many sights with out transportation.

Our tour began and ended in the Southwest corner near Columbus Plaza at the Time Warner building. We covered most of the southern half of the park, we went by the zoo, the Mall, the Boathouse and fountain, lover's bridge and John Lennon's Imagine memorial.

I know this could be a tourist trap but we're glad we did it. They negotiated on price so it was relatively affordable.

We booked online before we arrived to New York, we arrived at the shop early and the tour left on time. All staff were friendly and our guide Filip was very helpful as my fiancée hadn't ride a bike in years. Our guide was very informative and kept the tour interesting all the way round and was very funny even though we had some Germans on our tour who were quite rude. Our tour was made up of 8 people some of who were faster on the bikes so we did get split up at times but filip would wait for us to catch up before going through the next point of tour. Overall definitely glad we used this shop and we enjoyed it all

Here's the rub. Get through the booking process with Mr Grumpy who cares little about you and all about getting cash in his hands (don't tell him you're using a New York Pass too soon or you'll feel like a leper despite the "we welcome NYP" signs everywhere). Then get through the humiliating process of having your receipt checked and thrown back at you and then almost tossed a bike and ordered to stand with it on the side of the road for the next 15 minutes, and it's smooth sailing (if you can just forget that meat factory experience). Our guide, Ryan, or Bryan finally showed up and took us off to the ride. All 18 of us, meaning most could not benefit from the scant information he gave since we were a big group and he did lots of talking while riding. The ride around the park is great, though with the little we learned from our guide, I'd recommend hiring a bike and doing it yourself, reading up beforehand about sights. A grubby experience.
