Description: Scarpetta is LDV Hospitality's signature restaurant concept that first launched in New York's Meatpacking District. The Italian expression, "fare la scarpetta," describes the gesture of taking the little boot-shaped piece of bread to soak up the remaining sauce left in the pot of one's home kitchen. In 2008, Scarpetta received a James Beard nomination for 'Best New Restaurant in America' as well as a coveted three-star review from the New York Times.

went to Scarpetta for a romantic night. Great ambiance and service. The octopus appetizer was delicious and the duck ravioli were too. I would definitely recommend Scarpetta when you are in Miami. Chef Conant has a great menu of Italian fare.

In town for fun, had to try out Scott Conant's restaurant. As we expected, the pasta was amazing! Really enjoyed the farmers market salad- lots of texture without being messy. High marks for the short rib and bone marrow dish (though pretty heavy), and for the duck foie ravioli. One of the appetizer breads they serve is really a little stromboli with salami on the inside-yum!
Only downside was the spicy cocktail, which tasted more like someone had used a bottle of liquid smoke. A minor detail, really. We can't speak to dessert, as we were too full!

Went here with some friends who are locals. We initially had a 7pm reservation but traffic was abysmal and they kindly pushed our reservation back to 730. Not many places would be willing to do this. The shared plates that stand out were the spaghett, ravioli with bone marrow, octopus and finally the polenta with mushrooms (fantastic).
My scallops were cooked well but didn't live up to the starters.
Overall a great experience

Went to Scarpetta in the Meat Packing District of NYC in June after cocktails at Pastis across the road. This unassuming frontage leads into a very cool, casual but sophisticated bar and further to a cosy space with excellent lighting and a warm decor. The wine list is extensive and the food was amazing. Try the linguini with zucchini and sweetbreads; outstandingly good! Serving staff are ever attentive and very well versed on the menu and wine.

An absolute must if you're fine dining around NYC.

Scarpetta was chosen by my friend and every detail and waiter recommendation was incredible!! I had the scallops, they melted in my mouth. My friend had the duck and foie gras ravioli, they floated off the plate. The wine was a perfect wine and dessert was chocolate with salted caramel ice cream. Everything was delicious.
