This hotel is conveniently located. 15 minute walk to Penn Station. The best feature is the rooftop bar looking at The Empire State Building. Rooms are small for a vacation club property but it is in New York. We had enough wardrobe and drawer space to unpack and we were able to get our suitcases out of the way.
It did not meet my expectations as a Marriott property. The king bed was comfortable but the decor could be upgraded. Bathroom was small but served the purpose.
Coffee in the morning was good. It would have been better if the donuts were available at 7ish to have with coffee. I noticed them in the morning on my way out around 9.
Staff were very friendly and helpful giving good restaurant recommendations.

The location is excellent with easy walking to restaurants, sights, shopping, subway and nightlife. Staff was helpful and friendly. Cool rooftop bar with view of Empire State bldg.
Room was small , well-appointed and maintained with plenty of storage, in-room safe, frig, iron and coffee maker. Bathroom was fine, but on one day of our visit the shower was lacking hot water (!). It was also kinda noisy. Good fitness room and good WiFi. Pleasant lounge on ground floor with free coffee, newspapers and snacks.
Nice home base for your NYC visit.

Room tip: Higher floor with views of Empire State Bldg

Amazing hotel. Amazing location. I seriously can’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is very central yet remains away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Despite reading other reviews, myself and my mam never complained about the noise- think we were located at the back of the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and gave useful directions when needed. They also offer a free tour guide, with different days doing different activities. We didn’t do this as we already had an itinerary but we did think this would be very helpful/useful with people who might not be so confident finding places on their own- and especially for free! The roof top bar is a bonus. Amazing views and we were blessed with good weather. It’s pricey but I wouldn’t say it’s much more than other bars around the area considering the view you get. Again, we personally thought the room was an okay size considering we only spent our time in there to sleep and get ready. The wardrobe was small but plenty of hangers provided and other storage space available. Free Starbucks coffee/tea is provided at the lobby along with water and other snacks which is another great little bonus. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and hope to return again!

The hotel is in a great location. We chose it as it was near to Penn station and we were planning on getting the train rather than a cab from the airport. We also walked everywhere during our NYC stay so being in midtown was perfect. The staff were very friendly and check in was easy. I (perhaps rather naively) had not realised this was a time share so they did try to book us in for 'the sell' but we didn't commit and we heard no more about it. The room was small but noisy. The air-con, elevator and toilet all made crazy loud noises but once you got used to it, it was ok. Not good if you are a light sleeper though!!

Room tip: don't get the rooms that back on to the elevator!
