Gregory was our guide and well it lived up to all of the reviews , we did the half big apple tour down town and learnt so much about the history of these districts . Gregory kept our 2 kids enthral led for 4 hours and we didn't want it to end. We are new to the city and it really made us feel at home and more in tough with the city and people here too.
If you're thinking of coming here this is a must !!!! Thank you Gregory xxx

The Big Apple Tour was by far the best thing we did while in New York. Our guide, Michael was amazing. He knew so much about the city's history, while making it fun for our teenagers. He personalized the tour for us, going at our pace, and made sure we saw all the highlights of the city. The best part of the tour what you don't get on bigger tours-walking through all the neighborhoods and really learning the history of the people who lived there over the years, and eating some of the best authentic food from the cheapest "dives". Our guide was at Columbia during 9-11 and had amazing stories to share with us about what it was like to be in the city which really made the kids understand the tragedy at a personal level. We learned so much, saw so much and feel like we really know the city now-including the subway system!

The Big Apple tour was great! Our guide was Aaron and he was the best! We had 9 in our group, 4 adults and 5 teenagers, and he had so much interesting information for all our age groups. We learned a lot and had so much fun, we would recommend this tour to anyone going to New York. The walking was at our pace, we saw all the sights we expected to and learned how to navigate by ourselves. Do bring a camera because there are a lot of photo opportunities and good walking shoes because you cover some ground. We found a wonderful Italian restaurant and Aarons' knowledge of the city made it real. Being from the West Coast we weren't sure what to expect, but the tour was so well set up that we felt safe and comfortable while walking all over New York. Thanks Aaron, the kids said you Rocked!!

My wife, son and I had a great time with David, our tour guide. Since it was just the three of us and David, the tour really was built around what we wanted to see. We got to see a lot in 6 hours. We never would have seen many of the places if we had been on our own. We did the tour in July on a really hot and humid day. David could tell when the heat was getting to us and adjusted the schedule accordingly. I had mentioned when I signed up for the tour on-line that we wanted to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. We were able to do that and then sit down at a great Brooklyn pizzeria to rest and eat great pizza. Even with adding the Brooklyn Bridge to the agenda we were able to do everything we wanted to do. We were tired after the 6 hours because of the heat but David made sure that we took several water breaks along the way. By the end of the Day we felt that we had made a new friend. I am sure that it helped that we had a private tour instead of with a group but I would recommend this tour to anyone.

My wife and I recently did the Downtown Dozen tour; it's well worth the price and our guide (Gregory) was fantastic. He had so many great stories, personal experiences, pop culture & historical references, etc to share with us, and his energy and passion for the city was inspiring. Bring some comfortable shoes and be prepared to do some serious walking; that's all part of the fun. My only regrets: (i) not doing the tour earlier in our NYC visit (this particular tour only runs on sundays) and (ii) not having enough time to do the Uptown tour as well. The way i see it, at least now we know a couple of things to explore deeper on our next visit.
