“Beautiful library”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

I loved my visit to the library, they had an exhibition about the importance of children's books that I really enjoyed. The library is beautiful by itself and having exhibitions was a great excuse for us to make a stop and visit it.

“Worth seeing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014 via mobile

The Main Rose Reading Room was shut down when we were there. It is a huge library. I recommend taking a tour.

“Worth a quick stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014

With most museums closed on Mondays, the NYPL made for a great stop, with new exhibitions and a reminder of the great architecture found within. A quick stop to eat at Bryant Park cafe enhanced the day.

“Rose reading room is temporarily closed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014

We were disappointed that the Rose reading room with the fabulous ceiling is closed for repairs for at least 6 months. The library is still a must see. The Gutenberg Bible is on the 3rd floor. Walk behind the library to Bryant Park and have a sandwich from the Deli across the street.
