“Beautiful”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

I was won over by the lions that guard the front of the building - and the rest is simply beautiful. Have it on my list of things to explore in greater detail on my next trip.

And, if you like good quality NYC keepsakes, the library shop is the place to go. Amazing little bits and pieces, and the most gorgeous lion bookends!

“Interesting lunch exhibit!”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

We stumbled by the New York public library because the other half wanted to see where the Ghostbusters were! It is a beautiful building to look in, and had a couple of exhibition s. One about Charles Dickens and the other about lunch. It sounds weird but was really good. Well worth taking a look if you're in the area and for free too! After you've finished in the library have a look in Bryant Park, where there's an ice skating rink and some little stalls, some with food, some with clothes and jewellery and stuff.

“A mixture of art and culture”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

One of the landmark places in New York city. A marvelous architectural setting and cultural event in the same place. Plus there is almost an interesting exhibition going on the premises. As a library it gives a big service to the community. Nice place to visit.
