Though the gallery area is small, they have good exhibits which cover many Hispanic areas. The cafe is cheerful and has delicious food at very reasonable prices. I had avocado stuffed with vegetables, topped with a nicely spicy creamy sauce and a generous serving of black beans and rice. Regrettably, I did not have enough room for the tempting fruit icecream bars displayed in a freezer. The shop has a nice selection of books as well as some handcrafts and jewelry. A visit here can be easily combined with one to the Musuem of the City of New York next door (and in fact, the day of my visit the Museo entrance fee included a free visit to their neighbor). Very nice staff. There is also an auditorium where they have films and performances.
