“The Best Service and a comfortable place to stay”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

The Four Points Sheraton Soho is my home away from home. I travel a ridiculous amount of nights a year for my job (over 250 nights in hotels in the last 2 years) and stay at a lot of hotels - both fancy and not so fancy. The Four Points Soho is one of the hotels I stay at the most often, and when I walk in they know me by name.

The hotel is a perfect location for lower Manhattan with easy access to the subway, some great restaurants, and a short walk over to Soho for some of the best shopping in the city.

The rooms are comfortable. It's not the Ritz with flash, but you get all you need and the beds are great. In the past the wifi has been a problem, but they just upgraded the wifi and it now works like a charm....oh, and it's free too.

The reason to stay here though is the staff. They are great! They are super friendly and always willing to help you out with anything they can. Seriously. the staff here are probably the most personable and nicest of anywhere I've stayed in the world. They go the extra mile, and they always greet you with a smile.

I'm tough on service. I've stayed at 5 star hotels and have only had a 2-3 star experience. This hotel gets a 5 star experience rating from me.

Room Tip: Higher rooms are quieter. The elevator in the morning can be slow because there are only two. Ther...

This coming Friday will be my fourth time staying at Four Points Soho this past year. Each time, no matter how busy, the staff is unfailingly courteous and helpful. The room is always immaculate, coffee is great (important) and it almost feels like a bed and breakfast, because of the welcoming (yet professional) ambiance. I used to live in the city so I really appreciate having a hotel of this caliber to go to when I need to come to the city. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough!

Room Tip: I always stay on a lower floor and never hear any street or guest noise.

The girls and I had a great time in NYC. The location of the hotel is perfect for what we wanted to do. Cab fares were <$10 everywhere. The subways are only a few blocks away. Bars, restaurants, etc. are within walking distance.

The room is small, but clean. The gym is small too, but it had a treadmill, an elliptical, and bike. There's a restaurant downstairs, and the hotel provide free newspaper, free wifi, and free coffee.

The cab fare is about $50+tip to/from JFK, which is about an hour away. There's a food court thing around the corner.

Room Tip: Check out Bar Piti.

We love this hotel, primarily for its location. It is very well located for exploring Greenwich Village, SOHO, Tribeca, and more. It is a bit of a distance to mid-town, but not impossible. Our room was comfortable, but we did have some issues. The lighting in the bathroom is awful. It is difficult at best to shave or put on make-up in the bathroom. The main room is not a lot better. There is a nice "desk" in one corner which is usable for computing, coffee brewing and an ice bucket. It is not really suitable for putting on make-up since there is a goose neck lamp. The lighting over the bed is OK, but not really bright. This is also not a very well insulated room against noise. The only way I could sleep comfortably was to use ear plugs.

Room Tip: If you want a tub, ask specifically for it. Insist! Refrigerators are not in regular rooms and will...

Liked the SOHO location and near subway stops. Clean, comfortable and nice staff who seemed genuine. Room smallish but great bed and bedding. Was quiet on 17th floor facing back, around corner from elevator. Did not eat there- lots of places to get breakfast nearby.

My second visit to NYC and I was
keen to avoid overpriced midtown hotels this time. This hotel certainly fitted this Criteria. I have 5 starred this based on the price. Was good value for what else you could get in this city. Room was good and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The immediate location was not prettiest in New York but you are on doorstep of Greenwich and SoHo which is great. I particularly appreciated the complimentary beer and food one early evening. Was totally unexpected and I was looking for the catch. There wasn't one!
