Very comfy and well located

Stayed here two nights and while the rooms are the smallest I have ever experienced in NY, they were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The room has a nice flat screen TV, in fact, a lot of TV for a room that size. The staff was excellent including a very cheerful and energetic welcome from Nicholas when we arrived. The pillows were so nice my son (13) wanted to buy one to take home. The hotel is located in SoHo within a block of the MTA and we found that very useful. We didn't use any of the amenities of the hotel or the bar/restaurant. There is a little outside area to sit in to enojor food/drink. We did use a deli and the donut place almost next door to grab a quick bite in the morning before we ventured off. This hotel is adjacent to Little Italy and only a few train stops from the World Trade Center. Normally, I like to stay up near the theater district but this was a nice hotel. If your focus is in the southern end of Manhattan and like to walk, this is a nice choice.

This Hotel doesn't look like much on the outside after staying at the W hotel BUT the staff was so friendly!!! When we arrived our room wasn't ready so they brought us a drink at the bar.

The room had a great bed & a great view of the Empire State Building!!! The bed was filled with fluffy pillows and plush quilt. The room was spacious with large TV. I loved the turndown service...they would place a bag of White Cheddar Cheese Popcorn on your bed-yummy!!!!

We walked everywhere: Caliente Cab Company, Grey's hot dogs, Village Lantern Bar (comedy show), Washington Square Park & all across Bleecker Street. Great Bars, Shops & Hidden Neighborhoods!!!

I would stay here again for sure!!!!!!!

On this trip to NYC I wanted to stay in in SoHo rather than the tourist area of Times Square.

The hotel was four star quality. Large beds, excellent service. Bleeker St (with various bards and nightlife) was a five minute walk away. Shopping on Broadway was approximately 10 minutes away.

I received an excellent room rate on the internet and was not dissappointed.

If your after a nice beer after a day of exploring, The Brooklyneer (a nearby bar made from reclaimed Coney Island boardwalk) at 220 West Houston is an excellent alternative to the lobby bar.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it.

Pros: We had a Executive Room on the top floor and the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was chic. I didn't find it small at all, it is NYC what do you expect.

The staff gave us free water and umbrellas which came in handy

Its near a subway station and you can easily walk to SoHo or Greenwich Village

The Staff is super friendly

Cons:

The bar is so small its almost non - existent

The hotel has 2 elevators which take forever during busy hours. We had a corner room so we didn't hear the elevator at night

The gym is tiny and parking in a garage will cost you

Hotel was very updated in a great location near SoHo and Little Italy. Front desk staff was very accommodating, gave me extra complimentary water bottles every day which was great given the extreme heat (105 degrees outside), and let me check out at 4:30 PM on my departure day so I could enjoy the neighborhood leisurely before my flight. I'm SPG Platinum, booked the room on points and got a very nice room on the 21st floor with a view of the buildings of lower Manhattan.

The rooms were a little small, but very nice. The location was amazing...in SOHO right by a metro station with plenty of eateries and shops near by. Free Water was a plus, and the higher floors have decent views. The front desk was really nice as well. I would totally stay here again.

Room tip: ask for a higher floor facing the financial district
