“Spring Break in NYC”

Great location and easy walking distance to all the places of interest - the warm cookies won my boys heart! The front desk provide us access to internet, printing and planning of daily activities. We spent 2 nights and 3 full days in area, saw Spider-Man on broadway, walked to Empire State Building, did "The Ride". Overall, we would definitely go back.

Stayed for four nights and travelled with wife and two teenagers. Hotel is on 36th Street which is almost parallel with Empire State / Macys and about 7 blocks south of Times Square which is a 10 to 15 minute walk. We booked a quad deluxe room, which on reflection was a mistake. Room was very small even though it was a deluxe. I asked reception if there was a mistake but they confirmed that our room was one of the bigger ones! For a couple, it would have been fine although not with children. Storage space for 4 was very limited, so ended up using dressing table to pile clothes.

Staff very attentive and room was quiet. All hotel areas were clean although we didn't venture into restaurant. Bar is tiny, so you can't make an evening out of having a few drinks in hotel. Don't be put off by this review as hotel is absolutely fine although don't book a room for more than 2 people! For the price when compared to others, it's a decent choice.

Tips: Use Tick Tock diner for breakfast which is 5 mins away on the corner of 8th and 34th. Fantastic food and quick service Hotel breakfast is $20.

Don't buy Empire State tickets from salesmen outside. They will tell you there is a 2 hour queue when in fact there was no queue.

Great places to eat - Jackson Hole on 3rd, near 36th (excellent burgers and very reasonable). Tony d'Napolis just off Times Square - fantastic Italian although you'll need to book the night before. Ruby Tuesdays on 7th I think near Times Square - a little like TGIs but better.

Enjoy the Big Apple although you'll need a holiday after a few days there. It's the busiest city I've ever visited!!!

We went to NYC for my brother's wedding. Stayed 3 days in NJ & 3 days in NYC. We really liked this hotel, everything was clean, the staff was nice. We also had free breakfast every morning (part of the deal we got). We liked that everything was easy to walk to. The only complaint we had was that our room was tiny, when we opened the door, it almost hit the bed! But I guess that's how rooms are in NYC? Overall, we liked this hotel and would definitely go back.

I had a one night stay here and chose it since its a Hilton property and the location was a couple blocks from my business meeting location. Also, the ease of getting to the hotel from the train station (Penn) is great. I was able to ride the train right to Newark for much less than a can ride. The hotel itself is nice and typical for downtown NY yet the service was outstanding. The room was small but very nice and since its
NY there's really no need to be in the room much. The city view room was great. I had the breakfast buffet which was good and not that expensive for NY. Check-in was quick but its a small front desk and at times looked like it could back-up a bit especially when a big group came in with a lot of bags. I had no problems though. Of course you get the great cookie when you check in. Don't look at the nutritional information on the cookie if you're on a diet. The whole lobby smelled like the cookies at times and are hard to resist. I'd stay here again for sure.

I booked this hotel last minute and was pleasantly surprised by a very friendly welcome and an upgrade upon arrival. Thank you, Jennifer! The location was ideal for my needs, and the room spotless and quiet, which I highly value. WiFi is included if you're a Hilton Honors member. I would definitely stay there again.

My sister and I stayed here from 20th February for four nights to celebrate our birthdays and we couldn't be happier! It was our first time in NYC and it was perfect. Starting from when we arrived after our long flight from Manchester we were greeted with open arms, I have never felt more welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful and you also get the most AMAZING cookies on arrival, like amazing! Whenever we left/entered the hotel we got acknowledged, whether it be 'have a nice day' or 'welcome back'. All in all, the customer service was excellent.

The rooms were lovely too, they were a good size (not huge but who needs that?) and very nicely decorated. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very nice to come back to after a long day sight seeing.

The location was perfect, when we got dropped off from the airport in the shuttle I was kind of worried that we was going to be out of the way, but it really was right in the middle of things. There was a short ten (if that) minute walk to Times Square, which was perfect for us.

So yes, staying in this hotel really did make our trip that much more enjoyable! The staff are very helpful and it's just a very lovely hotel in general. I would advise anyone thinking of staying here on their trip to do so!

I have stayed in Manhattan many times in the past both for business and pleasure . But this was one the worst of all . This Mid town hotel has really very cramped small rooms like a roach motel . My advice stay away from this one ; not worth the money
