Spent a night at The Standard East Village in NYC. Everything was spectacular. The hotel staff was incredible and helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. The room was amazing with a breathtaking, panoramic view of Manhattan. Comfortable beds, I-Pod dock, Wi-fi, flat screen TV and beautiful bathroom. The food at the restaurants was wonderful. Would recommend this hotel if you visit New York. Convenient subway stop at Astor Place. Walk to Chinatown and Little Italy.

You enter the 21-story tower through an original tenement-style building before ascending to unparalleled views of Manhattan. There's a quiet, calm garden tucked away at street level, Michelin-starred chef John Fraser's widely acclaimed Narcissa, and the bustling, street-side Café Standard, which hums from morning until late night. ... more less
