I 've chosen the restaurant rather by force than by will, and was positively surprise.
It is true that you are basically dragged to the table by the personal, but it is not very different of what you can experience in other tourisitc sites of Paris or Rome. If you don' t like this way of doing, then do not go to touristic areas. and, no one oblige you to sit down if you don' t like.
It is indeed expensive, but the pasta tasted as freshly homemade and not from supermarket and portions were quite ok.
