“Fantastic Stay at Morgans Hotel”

We have just returned to the UK from a fantastic first visit to NYC and cannot fault the experience we had at the Morgans. It was my 50th birthday and the gift in the room was much appreciated as well as the upgrade. The room was spotless, spacious and quiet and the venue brilliant. The view from the penthouse breakfast room every morning made the very good breakfast even better. We will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends.

We recently had a one night stay at Morgans. It was the smallest hotel room that I have ever experienced. We were barely able to fit two suitcases. And the bathroom was tiny.

The room itself was quite nice other than the size, although a little too modern for us. We are a senior couple & would not recommend this hotel for seniors. I can however see that young people might enjoy this hotel.

Morgans are in the midst of renovations. To get to reception, you have to take the elevator to the 19th floor. The staff were pleasant & the complimentary continental breakfast was fine.

Thank you for your review. We have different types of rooms at different rates. I assure you that our rates are competitive for the size of rooms in the city. We have 13 Standard rooms; the rest are Superiors and Suites.

We do get many Seniors here at Morgans. It all depends I guess! There is a hotel out there for everyone's tastes and needs.

Had a nice stay at the Morgan's. I have stayed at many NYC boutique hotels and most have very, very small rooms (Hudson). The room here was a nice size with a desk, chair, and built in window seat. The bathroom is very small though and the sink is tiny and the faucet is in the way such that you can't really wash your face. The free continental breakfast was OK but the setting of it in the penthouse was really nice, with great views and terraces. Unfortunately it was raining during my stay. The reception is 2 people with laptops which is a little odd. All in all though I got the room for $200 which was much less than many other places and it offered free wifi and breakfast. Nice place to stay.

My first trip to NYC, but my wife's 5th or 6th. This hotel is very conveniently located. Close to broadway shows, grand central station and many other sites. The staff, especially Todd, has been very helpful. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Excellent continental breakfast. The Morgan is where we will stay!

I travel every month to NY for business and my usual hotel was fully booked and ended at the Morgans. I am very glad I did !!!! the rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. The bathroom is functional and new although a bit small.

The hotel is boutique still with a lot of "charm", I recommend it for business and couples!

Stayed for three night last weekend. Very dark lift, corridors and rooms. Room 0906 not a good view - air vents and other bedrooms. Not a lot of room but understand this is normal for NY. Great shower. Lovely staff. Shame about the gloom.

Thank you for your review. We do have about 13 Standard rooms of which 9 do not have the best view. It is a matter of rate for most guests. Room types vary in all hotels. The vast majority of our rooms overlook either the front or back of the hotel but the standard rooms tend to be in the interior.

I am glad you felt our staff were welcoming. We will try to put you in a lighter room next time!

We stayed for 4 nights in a superior room and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and stylish, with lots of storage space and a big comfy bed. Breakfast was really good with toast, bagels, pastries, yoghurts, fresh juices and coffee/tea. A great start to the day. In addition to this the staff really care if you have a good stay. From the welcome at the door, the reception staff and all of the cleaning staff we were greeted with smiles and genuine warmness. I will also pay a special mention to Milton whose kindness ensured we had a perfect style. Thanks again to all at Morgans.
