This is a great hotel. Truly impeccable service which is polite, discreet and very friendly. Lovely rooms at a reasonable price, particularly when you consider the breakfast, the fruit coffee and cookies all day, and the complimentary wine and cheese in the evening. And an ideal location, with Times Sq on your doorstep, Fifth Avenue just a hop away and connections via the subway to all points of the city. Highly recommended

Stayed at the Casablanca for three nights. Location is fantastic in the heart of Times Square. Subway station is across the street. There was no street noise whatsoever in our room. The rooms are small but it wasn't a big issue for us. The bathroom sink has no space for toiletries at all, which was probably the biggest issue we had with the room. The hotel staff is as good as I have seen anywhere from the doorman down to the cleaning staff. At breakfast they serve fresh squeezed orange juice (yes!). No fitness room on site (free passes are available for off-site), but with all the walking we did around the city it wasn't a big deal. Parking is super convenient (literally next door to the hotel) and very cheap compared to other hotels in the area (I saw as high as $85/night vs. $25/night here). I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in 406 and couldn't hear a bit of street noise.

I'd echo all the positive reviews of this hotel. Stayed with my best friend for a belated joint 40th Birthday trip. Couldn't have picked a better hotel. Location, comfort, customer service - all excellent.

Room Tip: All rooms are a high standard

We stayed in this glorious hotel for five nights and really can't fault it at all. The staff are so polite and helpful without being obtrusive. The complimentary breakfast and cheese and wine in the evening are excellent in that the food is very fresh and varied. The lounge area is relaxing and beautifully decorated. Our bedroom was quiet and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is brilliant for shopping and sightseeing. If you are planning a trip to New York, do not hesitate to stay at the Casablanca, it is superb!!

We went there twice. It is a perfectly located hotel just besides Times Square. Breakfast is nice, and the 5 to 7 wine and cheese even better in the lovely cosy Rick's cafe.
The rooms are very small, but who stays long in his room in NY?...
We will certainly go back, though in high season the price is less affordable.

Thanks to all the other reviews of the Casablanca we stayed here for our first trip to New York. After experiencing the hotel for ourselves, I totally agree with all the great reviews. We stayed in a mini suite which was really homely, of a very high standard and just what we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge and advice. It is a boutique hotel so don't expect a huge foyer, elevators etc. Given the amount of money we saved not needing taxis and subway rides together with all of the food/refreshments provided as part of the stay the Casablanca hotel is really good value. We bought a 3 day NY pass and walked to numerous locations/sights- apart from Battery park due to wanting to get there for the first ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Do the 9/11 memorial and Wall St the same day if you're sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent a weekend here with my daughters celebrating their birthdays. From the moment of our arrival the staff did everything they could to make our stay most enjoyable. The hotel reminds me more of a Bed and Breakfast given the atmosphere and the hospitality displayed by the entire staff. The customer service practiced here is the benchmark other hotels should strive to achieve. After returning home realized I had left clothes in my room. The hotel quickly mailed these to my home. The next time I visit NYC I will definitely stay at the Casablanca Hotel.
