The Warwick's history is well-known and, apparently, when you are building a love-nest for your mistress and a place to party with your celebrity friends, you build it right. Even on a low floor there is no street noise. In NYC!

These have to be the largest hotel rooms remaining in Manhattan. The comfort and service is first class. The staff is professional, well-trained, well-mananged and actually friendly!

While breakfast in Murals is pricey, it's worth it. The Randolph room is the ideal spot to unwind after the day. Even though it is a hotel bar, there are enough locals there to give it the feeling of 'your place'.

We went to NYC as part of our honeymoon. After staying a night at a well known luxury hotel, we decided to move over to the Warwick for the remainder of our stay. The room was amazing, spacious, and clean. It beat the socks off the previous hotel we stayed at. Within blocks of Central Park, Radio City, 5th Ave, etc, the location couldn't be beat. The staff at the Warwick were also awesome. We enjoyed our visit so much, that we will be returning to this hotel for our next NYC trip. Matter of fact it encouraged us to book at the Warwick in Seattle for the second part of our honeymoon which was just as nice! We highly recommend staying at the Warwick!!

Four words - nice rooms, great bar. What more do you really need in Manhattan? Located at 54th & 6th, the Warwick is completely convenient to just about any venue in NYC. I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last 3 months and both times the room was completely different. The first room was nicely updated, including the bathroom with granite countertops and attractive tile baths. The room was on the small side but by no means uncomfortable. The bathroom, on the other hand, was absolutely tiny. Our second room, which was an interior room with no view (whatever), was absolutely huge. Seriously, this room was easily double or triple the size of the first room. The bathroom was a a good bit bigger as well. Maybe we just lucked out since we were traveling over the holidays with our kids or maybe the front desk clerk thought I was being sweet and hooked us up. In any case, we were thrilled with the room.

As for the bar, this is the kind of place that you want to come hang out in after a long day in the city. Warm, cozy, and inviting are pale adjectives for this little jewel. The clubby/library-esque decor just made me want to sit and sip something strong and brown - and I'm not talking coffee even though they did offer a nice French press. Big leather couches, arm chairs, and cocktail tables arranged in conversation pods, a delightfully full bar menu, all of which was quite good, and nicely poured adult beverages at reasonable prices made me want to stay for the evening. The nicest part was the bar staff, all of whom were terribly un-New York in their hospitable attitudes, especially Heemel, who had a scary good knack for remembering names and favorite drinks. Definitely a hotel to put on your list of options when heading to NYC.

Room Tip: If you do not care about the view, and unless you are next to the park most "views" in NYC...

Hotel was very good. Large lobby area that was very clean with helpful staff available. The hotel has an excellent location, being within comfortable walking distance to Times Square and Central Park. An even shorter walk brings you out on the top end of fifth avenue where many of the more recognisable shops are located (fao Swartz, Tiffanys, Hollister, Apple etc).

Didn't spend much time in the hotel as there is so much to see and do in NYC. The time we did spend was very comfortable and everyone was very accommodating. The hotel is a great find in a slightly quieter area on 6th avenue as opposed to staying in the hustle of Times Square. would definitely recommended and would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful hotel in NYC. Perfect location on 6th Ave and 54th St .For being in the city there was very little tono outside traffic noise. Walking distance to Central Park, Radio City and Rockerfeller Center and even Times Square. Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived about 3 hours before check in and they immediately brought us to our room. The room was large and very comfortable.
We were there to celebrate my husbands birthday and one evening they had a bottle of champagne in our room for us.
So many of the bar/lounges in NYC are crowded and loud. The bar/lounge Randolph's was a nice quiet place to have a late night snack and drink. Our stay at the Warwick was perfect in every way.

Room Tip: We were in a corner room on a higher floor facing 54th St. Large sunny room and quiet from street no...

excellent location, a block away from MOMA and E line subway. Our stay was a 4 nights leisure stay for the beginning of 2013 (including new year's eve). At check-in, due to a (I suppose) overbooking, we were offered a free upgrade from a standard kind size room to a premium king size room. That room had planty of space for NYC hotel king size standards. Bathroom a little smaller if compared to the room, but reasonable.
Mattress very good indeed. we didn't experienxe neither in room service nor room minibar.
The central heating system was slightly noisy, but we shutted it down for the nights.
Unfortunately wifi connections was at a rate of approx 9,90 usd per day, what a pity for that kind of very good hotel!
for short connections a 15 minutes connection is offered by the hotel for free in the business centre (4 pc's). sometimes the business centre becomes crowded. Airlines check in (and boarding passes print off) is free in the business centre.
we just went to the first starbucks (1 block away) to connect our mobile phone to the web with its complimentary wifi service for longer internet connections oveer 15 mins

Room Tip: higher floors are preferable to avoide noise coming from streets

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Warwick hotel from the 29th December 2012 until the 2nd January 2013. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Location was great, between 5th Ave and Broadway, and quite close to Central Park.

The staff were incredibly helpful with all questions that we had also. If anyone is planning on doing the helicopter tour around Manhattan, I suggest you book it through the conceirge at the hotel.

Our room was very spacious for a New York hotel, with the most comfortable Queen size bed I have ever slept in. Was very sad to leave this and go back to our usual bed!!
