I finally tried the Mark, thanks to the insistence of my friends. I have never found a hotel in NYC which i enjoyed, as opposed to other cities in the world - it seems NYC always has problems of some sort when it comes to finding Quality and Faultless hotels. I have stayed at almost every 5 star hotel in NYC including St Regis, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Ritz Carlton, the Quin, etc. The Mark easily outdoes them all hands down, and is as close to perfect as you can get in terms of service, luxury, and quality. There is no better hotel in New York, and the location was beyond superb and incredible. Hard to find a fault here, with the exception of the restaurant's staff during breakfast. they were terribly slow, taking over 20 mins to get us a cup of coffee, and messed up orders bringing wrong items, and also forgetting to bring some items we had ordered. Other than the experience at breakfast, we are extremely picky travelers, and there is nowhere else I would stay in New York City. Don't even hesitate for a second to think about booking.
