Broadway at Times Square is exactly that; half a block from Broadway and Times Square.

The rooms are small but immaculately clean. The a/c works and that is no small wonder in New York in the summer.

Breakfast is basic but you will find pretty much what you need to start the day.

Wifi works everywhere and parking is across the street at a reasonable $22/day.

Can't beat the location, however. You can easily walk everywhere and you are a block away from Restaurant Row.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location only a 2 min walk to the fabulous Times Square precinct. Hotel renovations have been completed in the front reception, lobby and dining area. Rooms are small but fine for accommodation. The breakfast is good and an excellent start to the day. Staff at the front reception were always keen to assist, very polite and welcoming.

Very clean hotel in a great location. Just a block away from Times Square, 15 minute walk to Central Park, 10 minute walk to shopping on 5th Ave. Breakfast is included...cereal, toast, bagels, donuts, fruit, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, etc. nothing fancy but all you need to start the day. Nice and quiet rooms...so quiet we overslept! All at a good price. We will stay here on our next visit.

After reading other reviews here on TA, I booked a 2-night stay for my son and I to celebrate his 16th birthday. This hotel is modern, clean, comfortable, and in the heart of all the action! The front desk staff was more than helpful and were always happy to help point us in the right direction! The price was lower than anything else I could find in the area, and we got everything we needed for our stay, including complimentary breakfast (which I actually forgot about until we arrived). That alone can save at least $10 a person per day! Other than the location, the best thing about this hotel is that our room was basically sound proof! We heard absolutely no outside noise, neither from the street or from the hallway! I will tell everyone to stay here when in NYC!

I found this hotel for my grandmother and me on a road trip up the east coast. The location and price was such a good deal, that we didn't expect much from the room, but it was above and beyond what we imagined. Very nice, modern, and clean. I highly recommend it.

A great hotel for anyone wanting to staying near the main attractions of midtown, a few meters from several subway lines. The price is unbeatable for the location, the staff is very attentive and the breakfast is very good. The only downside is that the room has too much furniture for its size, leaving an area of tiny circulation. The cleanliness of the room was also not the best, with some corners very dusty.

I am a frequent traveler to NYC for business and have tried almost every chain hotel in Times Square and frankly i am getting tired of the stupidly high prices high that they charge. First of all, do not be turned off by the small size of the hotel. Yes compared to some of the chains in Times Square it is small, but it really makes up for the size in charm and cleanliness. The staff is accomodating and helpful and you really cant beat the location. Half a block from Broadway, how can you not like that?!

I was also quite pleasantly surprised by how fast the wifi was here. Faster than in some of the larger chains hotels in the area. Yes you will say that a smaller hotel will have fewer people and fewer people hitting the network, but i have stayed at another boutique hotel closer to Central Park and the wifi there was abysmal. Here it was like i was back at my home network, easily able to send a ton of emails and stream vids if i wanted too. The room was a tad larger than i had anticipated which made me that much happier. I asked for a room overlooking 46th and i got two windows, small ones, but it was still nice.

The corridors are small and there is only one elevator. The key here is to ask for a lower floor room and just take the stairs. It is better for you anyway. Breakfast was what I thought it would be, no omlet stations or anything like that, but a reasonable amount of choices. There was some door slamming by other residents, but this cant be avoided anywhere you go.
I did have some issues with the Lodgenet movie services, but the staff did refund the movies that did not work back to me.

Bottom line, if you dont want to spend upwards of 400+ in a room you will only be sleeping in, then this is a nice choice for you. Might be a bit small for a family of four, but for a couple getting away, perfect!
