“Worth it”
Reviewed February 10, 2012

Worth a trip and admission is $8. 911 exhibit is good and you can try on real FDNY clothing and fire hats. A shop with all your merchandise and tshirts. They are a little expensive and you can get them cheaper elsewhere. However the most unhelpful male assistant can be found here which is worth a visit on its own. Very informative and worth a trip

My husband and I were a little more interested than my 5 year old, but well worth the experience.

“Great look at FDNY past and present”
Reviewed January 28, 2012

A small but nice museum. Got many old items and engines to do with FDNY which are very interesting. The staff are lovely and will answer any questions you may want to ask and you can even have a photo in a firemans uniform. Nice little museum and cheap at only $8

“Nostalgiac but "dated"”
Reviewed January 19, 2012

It was cool to see the old fire engines and read the history of NYC fire department, but there isn't anything engaging. I was disappointed in the 9/11 exhibit. There aren't really any interactive exhibits. I think kids would be bored silly. But, it's only $8!
