“Do Times Square both day and night.”
Reviewed June 23, 2010

TIMES Square is a great big Wow! We went there during the day, shopped around Toys R Us for grand-dau's 'BrainAge2'
bought souvenirs and ate OK pizza, all in the area.
Returned twice at night to take photos, as well!
Find the bleachers and get yourself up that 25 ft. to the very top,
where you won't be pointing your camera upwards that much
(that's what makes bldgs. look like they're falling over backwards).
Serious shopping is not for Times Square, unless money is no object: the clothing stores are paying hot rents that get passed on to you.
Visit the Hershey's chocolate store right nearby, we bought a packet of Reeces for $4.79.
I'm glad we did Times Sq. both day and night -it's an interesting contrast.
It's not just Times Square, it's a whole area with lights going down side streets, the 'effect' is spreading.

“Busy & Crowded, but Fun.”
Reviewed June 22, 2010

Times Square is a very busy place! It's very crowded compared to living life on the country side! If you are visiting NYC, Times Square is a must, just to get the full effect. It's very much a tourist trap, but there are lots of cool souvenir shops and stores to go into.

“One to visit at night”
Reviewed June 11, 2010

This is a great photo opportunity especially at night. It is really just a traffic island surrounded by huge adverts but it somehow looks good. There are also some cool shops there, I would recommend a trip to the Hershey’s Store.

“You can't miss Times Square”
Reviewed May 17, 2010

I don't think a trip to New York is complete until you have been to Times Square. Its just a bunch of well lit buildings and billboards but what an amazing thing to see and the crowds are mad. You must see this both day and night.

“The world's most famous city square for a reason!”
Reviewed May 12, 2010

As an avid traveler for both business and pleasure, I often run into the problem of deciding what it is that I should actually do in a city to say that I have been to that city. Sure all of the guide books will give you a laundry list of ideas, but where is the straight-forward list of things that absolutely must be seen before you leave? It is here - www.absolutevisit.com

We believe that Times Square is the #1 absolute must visit attraction in all of New York City. A trip to NYC without a visit to Times Square is not truly a visit to the city. Time Square is stunning, magnificent and a site not to be missed! Check it out.
