Never gets old coming here. Lots of shopping, eateries, etc. Its said that almost 400,000 people go through Timws Square every day. It sure seems like it. Bust. Crowded. Some parts are closws ro traffic, which is food. Many unique stores. Right on the Theater District.

I mean, I dont think I have to describe it - I think everyone knows that its a place to see in NY. Its crowded, the buildings are tall, screens are everywhere. I mean - you need to see it at least once in your life

I've been to Times Square on a few trips and I have to say that coming the daytime cannot compare to a night visit when everything is lit up. All of the signs, advertising for the shows, shops and restaurants make this place seem pretty magical. The costumed folks are still out in full force, but since the temp was hovering at the freezing point they were all well dressed - no Naked Cowboy lol! Did a little shopping and enjoyed just walking about. Careful with kids here at night as the crowds are pretty thick. I had a number of people offering tickets for tours or attractions and a few even offered drugs. Just keep your eyes straight ahead and keep walking! Definitely a spot to see at some point in your lifetime.

It was a lot more then what I imagined it would be. The lights are truly captivating! I went back a couple of times just because I was so memorised by the lights

Must see, lots of lights and cool billboards. be very aware of the shady characters trying to scam you out of money. If you decline, they abuse you and call you racist. Now that i have been there, will avoid time square, felt unsafe and didn’t appreciate being called racist and being harassed.

You don't know who you're gonna meet if you show up at times square. Lots and lots of weird (?) people around. FUN

Had to visit, very busy as expected but found crowds too much, visited late afternoon, early evening.
Did get great photos of billboards, theatres...didn't like the hassle from sellers for an attraction...it was too much

Very over rated. Extremely packed you had to battle your way through to walk down the street, was expecting something wonderful but there was nothing except a few kids dancing and grown ups wearing costumes wanting you to pay them for letting you have photos taken with them.

We hosted an exchange student from South Korea. He loved Times Square. We are from a rural town in Ohio. We wanted him to experience different places in the US. Times Square was his number 1 pick. It was also our first time. The city was cleaner than we expected.

Plenty to do with buildings all lit up with advertising. Lots to see and a must visit. Buzzing with activity and street dancers all over
