“Every girls dream!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

There's nothing quite like wandering down 5th Avenue at Christmas time!! Magical.

The store windows are amazing. And Saks had a wonderful digital display show which covered their whole store front.

It is busy but just go with it, it adds to the excitement!!

“A Must During the Holidays!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2013

I've lived in Manhattan all of my life, and worked on 5th Avenue and 59th Street for about 20 years. I never get tired of the ever-changing picture in the store windows, the ever-changing colors in Central Park, the horse-drawn carriages and the many languages heard while strolling 5th Avenue. It's beautiful, but especially so during the Christmas/New Year holidays. Now that I'm retired and have even more time to browse, and I love it!

“A Christmas Tradition”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

To walk along Fifth Avenue in late Decemebr is a magical expierience. The stores are all decorated and the windows in Saks are very nice to see. Crossing the streets can be tough with all the cross-town traffic but it is manageable.

“Chaotic but fun!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

There is nothing like 5th Avenue during the holidays. The stores are all lit up with the most beautiful & creative holiday displays anywhere. But beware of the crowds especially around Rockefeller Center where there's no need to walk as the crowd just pushes you along. Start south of Central Park and work your way down. It's a long walk but if you like shopping then this is your place.

“pricey!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2012

Can't say much that people don't already know about 5th Ave. But it is pricey, you won't find anything moderately priced unless you walk quite far from the Apple Store.
