“Stopped for dessert and ended up ordering pasta!”
Reviewed December 9, 2012 via mobile

We were looking for a place for dessert after an unfulfilling dinner at candle79 and stumbled in here. They had a huge wheel of Parmesan in the center of the restaurant that they ignited with grappa and then tossed in a fresh made bowl of pasta scraping the ignited cheese into the pasta. They served this with fresh shaved white truffle. This dish was over the edge decadent for this foodie. I forced myself to eat another course even thigh I had previously eaten. Fabulous!!

“Thanksgiving, 2012”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

After doing some research, we decided to give Bocca a try. It was recommended on a few dining blogs. We arrived at 8 pm and were surprised that it was not very crowded...but you could tell this was a local establishment. We went with the Thanksgiving set menu ($50 pp + tip), although the regular menu was available. First course, butternut squash soup was amazing. Second course, pumpkin risotto, fabulous. Then the entree came. We were a little let down. The turkey breast did not apprear to be carved off a whole turkey as it was almost a perfect oval. It was not pressed, lunch meat turkey, but manipulated somehow. The stuffing was a scoop of mush. Skimpy gravy. Brussel sprouts were great. Sweet potato puree average. Dessert was pumpkin cheesecake which did not taste like cheesecake. The highlight was the fabulous service. Very attentive and thanks for the lemoncello after dinner. Next year, Bocca, go with real turkey meat and this would be a great experience overall.

“Ambience great, food good”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

This is a small, local restaurant with a warm inviting vibe. There were five of us, and we had some wine at the bar and then sat at a cozy booth in the back. The service was attentive, and the food OK, but not outstanding. The cabbage salad was really a not-much-special coleslaw, the pasta carbonara a little--chewy?--with big chunks of pancetta. The best part was the salumi--a cheese and meat selection. I think if I go again, I'll get a salad, salumi and wine. But I would go back.

“Good Italian restaurant”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

The hotel we stayed recommended this Italia restaurant for local people and hit our expectations.
The short ribs were excellent! The serves on top of potatoes au gratin and mozzarella sauce and all the flavours combined together was amazing! Seems heavy in the appearance but actually isn't.
The service was excellent, friendly and very efficient
The atmosphere was nice but the only down side of the restaurant was we waited for too long to get our dishes,
Overall I will go back and recommend it to everyone
Try the short ribs (Manzo)

“Delicious food, great bartender, awesome service”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

I shared a meal at Bocca recently with some friends. It may help that they are regulars, but I had one of the best meals I've had in quite some time. The staff were all very friendly and we felt comfortable lingering over our meal. The black fettuccine puttanesca was great. The tiramisu was some of the best I've had.
