“Great temporary exhibitions, very impressive building”

Beautiful building; they hold a new exhibit every couple of months, I saw a few of them and while they were fairly small, the quality of material was excellent

“If you collect books or paper history of any kind, you must go.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2012

JP Morgan was the worlds greatest book collector of the last 200 years. You can't get too close to the books or other artwork unless they are on display (the displays change). But still my favorite part is the book collection - just looking at the spines of the books through the glass. For god sakes, he has Byron's copies of Bryon's books!!!

The store is awesome as well, and resonably priced items abound.

“Amazing collection”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2012

We saw everything in an hour so I think it is a little pricey at $15 per person. Small place but lots of one-of-a-kind books/ etc.. When you look up at the ceilings of the library you can tell that a billionaire lived there.
My parents said the restaurant wasn't good so we avoided it.
Not a place for kids, they'd be bored to death.

Small but amazing. A very unique place to spend a Friday evening because it's free.
