A friend picked this restaurant and I could have done without. If you are a non smoker please do NOT go to this restaurant in the summer months. We first had a table outside and moved inside since someone was smoking right next to us. However, it didn't matter since all the windows were open to the outside. There was also a large screen close to our table blaring whatever movie it was that no one was paying any attention to anyway. The food was okay but nothing too spectacular.

My friends and I meet here every so often, as it is convenient for us location-wise. The menu has a lot of varieties and we especially like the choice of appetizers. Last time we went we had the beet salas (wonderful), the fish tacos, and the salmon. All were great! For dessert we had the molten lava cake--delicious!

We enjoyed our dinner so much the first time that we went back - we were only visiting New York for 4 days! The menu is cosmopolitan yet homely, including pork chops - medium to well done - as you like it. Service is excellent and the ambiance relaxing. Two-corner views from 3rd Avenue and East 34th Street keep you interested, people watching. Value for money is very good with service charge included - you should add a bit more, as it deserves it. The guy in the baseball cap manages things very well - he's the manager, or owner. Jeans or suit, that baseball cap is a fixture! Thanks and well done to the team.

They had a lovely Proseco wine from the Friuli region of Italy that we greatly enjoyed. The food was nice and well prepared. We would go there again.
